        Verdict

        SOCIETY RANGER has had 15 starts without winning but came closest over the track and trip last time when just failing to hold off Lunada. A repeat of that would make him difficult to beat in a very moderate handicap. Palavacini Run rarely runs over a trip this far and her only victory to date came in a 7f handicap on soft ground at the Curragh. Black Agnes won over a mile here in August but never really looked like producing a repeat last month and steps up in trip. Lorendano has only looked moderate and hasn't proved she stays this far while Shoofly has dropped massively in the ratings following three poor runs since arriving from the UK.
