In depth

Verdict

Boston Bruin was narrowly beaten at the Curragh in June and came up against a couple of decent Ballydoyle entries at Gowran in September and was by no means disgraced. Brothers In Arms made a promising debut over the track and trip a fortnight ago and normal progress will see him in contention. Jasikan is related to several winners and made a very satisfactory debut at the Curragh in August, particularly as he was a 50/1 chance. THIEF OF JOY has looked as though this sort of trip was required in both starts to date, the latest when staying on over 7f in a lucrative auction race at Naas, so he gets the vote in a tricky maiden. Cocktail Time is related to five winners, most of them on the all-weather while Cold War has a cracking pedigree being related to a host of winners including the useful Intelligence Cross.
