Walkabout has improved over hurdles this year and if carrying that progress onto the Flat would be difficult to keep out of the frame. But GOLD NOT SILVER (NAP), runner-up in this a year ago, bounced back to form behind Black Label three weeks ago and as that was only his second start since April he should be ready to go one better. Solar Heat, who had been running well over hurdles, wasn't far behind in that latter event but looks held as does fourth-placed Asian Wing. Against The Breeze won over a mile here in October but has yet to prove she stays this far and nor has Chatterton, whose two victories on the track have been over a mile.
