In depth
Verdict
Almost all of these are running well enough to land what is a very competitive heat but SAMPERS, who beat Calm Bay into second here at the weekend, can complete a quick double as she appears likely to get the required blistering pace. Mick Halford's filly had earlier finished close behind Tornadodancer here but can take her revenge on the revised terms. Mountain Coral and Iron Major look held by the aforementioned trio but An Saighdiur can be given a chance as he didn't last out the extra furlong last time after previously beating Little Luxury over tonight's trip. Collingwood has the form for this though his best recent efforts have come over an extra furlong.
