Joseph O'Brien saddles the pair at the top of the handicap, Commodus and Tigray, but both are still maidens and haven't been in the best of form. The former finished behind CALLING TIME over a mile here in November and, though the winner isn't certain to be suited by dropping down in trip, she could be good enough for this. Burning Lake only had half-a-dozen runs in the UK and lost his maiden tag in a poor handicap at Newcastle. He's joined a yard that gets plenty of winners here and should be paying his way soon. Clonard Abbey found 5f too short on her track debut in November and this is much more likely to be her trip.
