Verdict

GIOVANNI BOLDINI won on his racecourse debut over track and trip but couldn't cope with Toormore when third in the Group 1 National Stakes at the Curragh last month. A repeat effort would still be good enough to come out best in this, however, and he'll take the beating. He's No Saint and Warbird share the same official rating though the former's recent victory came at this track and both have plenty in hand with Muscle Beach and Miss Mousey on today's terms. Mandatario is the dark horse though he'll need a big improvement on his debut win at Gowran to get involved.
