In depth

Verdict

Key To My Heart was a beaten favourite on her last four starts and the 1.3m guineas yearling is hardly likely to justify her price tag though she badly needs a victory for the paddocks. She went backwards in her first campaign and her stable companion Puppetshow, another daughter of Galileo, may improve past her as she was staying on over a mile at Leopardstown. PANSTARR made her debut here at the end of last month and didn't attract much attention in the market but she ran very well, staying on nicely once the penny had dropped. With that under her belt and an entry in the Irish Oaks she can get off the mark. Assam has no fancy entries but caught the eye on her debut at Gowran last July and with her stable going well she's one to keep an eye on. Lace Bonnet didn't show much on her debut at Cork though that was on heavy ground but the Sea The Stars newcomer Breeze, another Irish Oaks entry and from a stable in top form, cost 525,000gns and her dam has produced winners with her first three foals to run.
