In depth

Verdict

Tsar Paul has won here but not since 2010 and he also has a poor strike-rate on Turf. Mouskersize has raced over a variety of trips including 1m4f in August but ran her best race to date over a mile at Gowran last time and has more scope than most of her rivals. Versilia Gal has only won on Turf and can race from an 8lb lower mark here so she has to be considered as should the veteran Hello Man, who has run quite well from his very lowly spot in the weights on his last two starts here. Rockview Emperor and BARMY BRUSSELS ran in the race won by Corker Hill here in September when there was little between them in mid-division. The former has run several times subsequently and not shown much but the latter is making his reappearance and the assessor has dropped him 8lb, which seems very generous, and Tracey Collins' three-year-old can take advantage in a poor contest.
