Verdict

Five Claw made most over 6f here three weeks ago and though his lead was reduced in the closing stages he never looked like being caught. Runner-up Song Of Love has scored subsequently so the form looks strong enough, though whether he'll be able to hold the likely late thrust of CHARLIE BEAR is debateable. Shane Donohoe's charge has made steady progress and stayed on very strongly when scoring over the course and distance last month so he can see off his main rival. David Marnane has two entries and it's the newcomer Oliveraie, a 60,000gns two-year-old who is a half-brother to two winning sprinters, who can come out best.
