Aidan O'Brien won this in 2014 with Johann Strauss and SCHUBERT will attract attention after being headed right on the line over this trip at Gowran. The $1.3m yearling has no fancy entries but should be good enough for this. Palmetto Dunes started off with a couple of good runs and didn't look at his best when well beaten in the Convivial Stakes at York in August. With his stable in full flow he looks a real threat. Mittersill couldn't quite get to the long odds-on Bravery here last month but it was a fine effort and with further progress likely he should be in the mix. Cry Me A River started off with a very promising run in a Listed contest at the Curragh a year ago and was well supported for the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot but was beaten a long way.
