Verdict
Billbao has been racing over the minimum since his debut and was conceding 10lb when runner-up in a maiden here last month though the winner did not advertise the form last week. Cross Border has been a beaten favourite in three of his last four starts and was hanging left in the closing stages last time. He will not get many better chances than this but may find one too good again in the shape of LOCAL GIRL, who has been showing very good speed over longer trips. Hokusai is another who has been racing over further and should be suited by dropping down.
