Verdict

Michael Halford has had two of the last three winners and relies on Allography, who made a promising start at the Curragh but didn't appear to enjoy softer ground at Naas, and the newcomer First Premio, whose sire gets plenty of winning juveniles. ROOM TO ROAM has had plenty of chances and is looking exposed but this looks a good chance to get on the scoresheet as he was finishing very strongly in a strong Galway nursery in July. He had Slaney Street over five lengths behind at Leopardstown earlier and should confirm the form with Jim Bolger's charge, who also makes his debut on the surface. Cape Of Eagles did better on his second start at Gowran and has the scope to improve.
