In depth

Verdict

TIDE RUNNER had raced over hurdles with poor results before having his attention switched to the Flat. He was making his handicap debut when coming with a storming late run to score over a mile here a week ago and an 8lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent a quick double as the longer trip will suit. Waterloo Sunrise, who finished fourth, didn't get the best of runs and should finish closer but Indian Scout looks a bigger threat. Eoin Doyle's charge is progressing nicely and though it was over 1m4f that he lost his maiden tag last month he was in the lead at this trip and should have no problems stepping down. Try Freedom has won once in 25 starts on the all-weather and is better handicapped on turf.
