Timia had given notice of an imminent victory when narrowly beaten here earlier this month and duly obliged with an impressive victory last week for which she's been handed an 11lb rise. PAVED WITH GOLD won a course and distance handicap a year ago and was an unlucky loser when sent to Chelmsford last month so gets the vote in an open handicap. True Companion has been in good form on Turf all summer and has a victory here to his credit as a two-year-old while Indian Tomahawk beat Koybig here last month and only just failed to defy a 6lb rise against the same horse. Lady Rosebud won a handicap here in January but is still 4lb higher despite not having scored since. Weightfordave has been a beaten favourite in six of his last eight starts and is still a maiden after 24 outings.
