Verdict

BARBADOS has a strike-rate of 2-22 on Turf and makes his all-weather debut. His record doesn't do justice to his overall form having raced at a high level and, though well beaten over hurdles last week, he should return to winning ways as he's 10lb clear of Grandmaster Flash on official ratings. The latter has three victories on this surface to his credit, including this race a year ago, and looks the main threat. The versatile Jerandme is another with a track and trip victory to his name and he ran very well on his return here last month while Here And Now will have found 1m2f much too short when beaten in a claimer three weeks ago.
