Verdict

Blackstone Cliff went up 6lb for scoring under a big weight last month and continued to perform well from his raised mark. TOOREEN ANGEL had been running well in maidens before gaining a deserved victory early last month. She makes her handicap debut and doesn't have much in hand of Battle Of Benburb on that run, though has much more scope. Gougane Barra hasn't won for two years but his recent close third to the in-form Drakensberg was another good effort and he should get into contention. Pepperoni Pete has a long absence to overcome but dual track winner Ragtime Red is gradually slipping to a winnable mark.
