Verdict

KATIYMANN and Fuwairt were separated by a neck when they were 1-2 in this last year and both return in good form. The former just failed to handle the smart Aussie Valentine over a mile last week and is taken to gain compensation, though Gavin Cromwell's charge contributed to the stable's excellent recent run when scoring at Cork last week. King's Field is an obvious contender on his handicap debut as the €145,000 colt doesn't look overburdened on 86 after scoring with something in hand at Cork. Andy Slattery has been in superb form in the saddle and steered Nothing To Lose to a victory from just 3lb lower at Limerick on Saturday, though that was on heavy ground. Focus Of Attention was caught close home over track and trip last week and should go well again while Yorkshire raider Classic Seniority ran a fine race in a Class 2 handicap at Hamilton when last seen in July.
