Verdict
Victor's Beach hasn't won since January and has had plenty of opportunities but he's been given a chance by the assessor and must be considered. MANOROV (NAP) has been a losing favourite the last twice but looked unfortunate when beaten a short-head by Alvar here last month and can recoup losses. Muck 'N' Brass finished a close third in that latter event and, along with sixth-placed Stynes, looks held. Rockview Emperor is gradually running into form but this is his first start beyond a mile while the versatile Danequest has an absence to overcome after his good form in early summer. Bomber Jackson won this a year ago and is 2lb lower but hasn't been in the best of form.
