First Friday ran well in handicaps over this trip before finding 2m beyond him in an amateurs' race a fortnight ago. Alghanem has a poor strike-rate and looks as though he needs further but Clare Harrier stayed on strongly to catch Lord Kenmare last month and a 4lb rise doesn't look excessive. All About Alfie is 9lb higher than when landing a poor contest here in October and was well beaten in his only subsequent start over hurdles.
