Dual hurdles winner Metal Man stays extreme distances so Gowran's 1m5f will have been inadequate a fortnight ago. His stable also run The Abbey, who won over 1m5f at Killarney last summer though is better known as a chaser these days. Danehill Quest has run well here in the past without winning but a chance is taken that PORT LOCKROY stays the trip. Joseph O'Brien's charge was staying on strongly over 1m4f here on Sunday and his pedigree suggests the extra shouldn't be a problem.
