Verdict
Fawkner Park has looked very green in both starts to date on Turf but hasn't been beaten far and should be ready for this. He easily holds Any Dream Will Do on their run at Killarney while Marvelosa has been staying on over 1m4f so this looks on the short side. The superbly-bred FLEET COMMANDER looked certain to win when leading inside the final furlong over 1m4f here a couple of weeks ago but was run out of it close home and can go one better.
