In depth

Verdict

The versatile Silverlord can never be left out of calculations and is just 4lb higher than when scoring here last month. If Per Chance has never won beyond a mile and ran very well over that trip two weeks ago but Cash Or Casualty should be suited by a return to the trip after racing over shorter. Edith Cowan wasn't far behind If Per Chance last time and should enter the reckoning but in a wide-open event it's CASTLE GUEST who gets the nod. Mick Halford's charge won at Clonmel in May and was having only his second subsequent start when placed behind He's Our Music over the C&D last week. He led briefly at the 2f mark on that occasion and with that under his belt and more progress expected he can double his winning tally.
