Split The Atom went up 8lb for scoring over 7f here last month but made a bold bid to follow up in a much better race a week later when caught right on the line by Bishan Bedi. Kimbay had a nose to spare over Fast In The Wind over track and trip in November but the latter has a nice pull in the weights and should reverse the form. DARK ALLIANCE looks well handicapped and will be difficult to beat. Michael Halford's charge has won here in the past and landed a handicap at the Curragh in the summer from a 4lb higher mark - his stable is in excellent form. Coto has run 18 times and this is her first start beyond the minimum trip though she generally stays on well. Shinyhappyjohn has only been narrowly beaten in his two latest starts though a strike-rate of 1-26 is off-putting.
