Winston Wolfe looked as though he needed every inch of the 2m he won over last week but he's actually on a lower mark with his rider's claim taken into consideration. EMPIRE STREET was having only his sixth start when chasing home Pempie over the track and trip, with Macaban City behind. John McConnell's charge can go one better though Starlight Red was staying on over the extended 1m2f track a couple of weeks ago.
