Bishan Bedi has been purchased from William Jarvis, presumably to have some fun with on this track as he has an all-weather pedigree. The filly Stroll On has dropped 12lb from her initial rating when trained by Rae Guest but she will be having her first all-weather start. Merry Mast is just 1lb higher than his lone success on this track in March while the busy Stoichkhov, who won this last year, arrives in good form having run very well behind Nini Ok a fortnight ago. Fairy Foxglove was just behind in that latter race then found a mile too far last week but ENIGMA CODE has dropped to his lowest ever rating on his 64th start and though he hasn't won for a long time he won't get many better chances. Catalpa runs the occasional decent race though is still a maiden after 25 starts but the lightly-raced Moss Nation is one to note from the bottom of the weights as she's done better in her two most recent starts.
