    Verdict

TALENTED KID, who began his career with Godolphin, has at last been given some respite by the handicapper and stormed to victory over Aye Aye Skipper, who runs earlier, at Navan on Wednesday. David Nagle's charge was well supported and can defy a 5lb penalty. Poitin goes well around here and completed a double in the spring. He's returned with two strong efforts and it will be a surprise if he's not thereabouts. Maknificent is 12lb higher than her victory at Killarney but has performed with credit in two starts at the Curragh while the lightly-raced Credit The Giver has been staying on over a mile and should also be considered.
