Verdict

This revolves around DUBAI WARRIOR, who returns after two moderate runs in Dubai earlier this year and has his first start for David Loughnane. Six times an all-weather winner, including at this level, an official rating of 114 suggests he should be too good for these. Khartoum is 7lb lower and receives 5lb so should go close if running up to his best though he makes his all-weather debut and Seamie Heffernan chooses Lough Derg, whose only victory to date came on his debut here in November. Charterhouse had Ides Of August behind at Navan in August though the latter has made the greater strides since while River Eden showed the benefit of a barrier trial success when landing a maiden here in very impressive style.
