Heliogabalus was returning from a long break when beaten a length over the course and distance a month ago and should make further progress. TARAJ ran a couple of fine races at the Curragh in the summer and as he is out of an all-weather winner he is unlikely to have a problem with the surface so gets the nod. The Old Nine did well to finish third a fortnight ago as he was very green while Puente Romano is the only one of Joseph O‘Brien‘s four entries with experience and he should come on markedly from his debut. Aztec Sun cost 150,000gns and is a half-brother to four winners as is the €110,000 The Ginger Wizard while Perretti cost €180,000 and is the first foal of a middle-distance winner in France.
