Verdict

HAZEL BAY has been a major disappointment since placed in a Naas Listed event in March but won't get many better chances of finally losing her maiden status. Defilade reappears after a break since May when runner-up in a moderate maiden though with his stable in form he looks an obvious threat. Globe Theatre, by War Front out of Oaks winner Was, has been looking one-paced over shorter but Irradiate is better than she showed at Tipperary after a better run at Galway. Geolai was beaten a long way when tackling 2m at Thurles and takes a big drop in trip.
