Verdict

Plough Boy was having his 57th run when a very close third over 6f last week where he led inside the final furlong, but he's never raced over the minimum trip. He had the favourite Silk Cravat just behind, and he's only run once over this trip, while Geological, who was close behind in fifth, has also never won at the distance. Brave Display was well beaten and looks held but ONEOVERYOU (NAP) is a specialist over the trip and only just failed to hold off Flawlessly, who was receiving 11lb, three weeks ago when Geological and Menelik were behind. With his young rider again able to claim his 7lb, Mark Fahey's charge looks the one to beat.
