In depth

Verdict

Made In Design has come up against some useful performers in her last two starts and is a good yardstick though she may have to wait for a nursery to gain her first victory. Rockabilly Riot also takes a drop in class having raced in strong company but Festive Cheer was being ridden along from a long way out on his debut at the Curragh. He'll improve for the run and with Joseph on board is presumably the pick of the Ballydoyle pair over newcomer Codrington College, a son of Duke Of Marmalade out of a mare who won in the USA. DUKE OF DANCE is by the same sire and he's the fifth foal of a mare who has produced four winners. David Wachman has some nice juveniles this season and this one could be another winner for him. Jim Bolger's Bunairgead is another newcomer to note.
