Verdict
Tommy Stack won this a year ago but Fine Cut hasn't really been showing enough pace to suggest a repeat, even in this lowly grade. Count Of Carabass has run his best races over the track and trip and was in front of Shinyhappyjohn over an extra furlong three weeks ago. The pair of them should get into the mix under 10lb claiming riders but Go Placidly may just need the run on his return after a break. EVER YOURS was tried over a mile in December but did better when dropping to this trip earlier this month and was beaten less than two lengths by Boughtforasong. She's been dropped a couple of pounds and gets the vote in a poor contest.
