Verdict

Willie McCreery won the inaugural running a year ago so Ickworth, a daughter of Shamardal and a half-sister to two winners over 6f, is likely to attract attention. Johnny Murtagh invariably has his juveniles in good order at the start of the season so the speedily-bred Via Veneto is one to keep an eye on. For The Trees is by the first-season sire Ivawood, a brilliant two-year-old and placed in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket and the Curragh, out of a winning miler. Lisard Zara makes little appeal but Silent Look is by Dream Ahead out of a 7f two-year-old winner so should have plenty of pace. Jim Bolger made an incredible start to the new Flat season at Naas and MOMENTS LINGER is likely to be a warm order. She's a home-bred by Dawn Approach out of a 6f two-year-old winner and is certain to be well forward.
