A low-grade handicap with few running well and though Benkogambit finished runner-up at Listowel in June he was beaten eight lengths. He was a long way behind International Lady at Cork in April and the winner then completed a double on this track. She ran poorly at Clonmel last time but her overall form puts her in the picture. WRIST ART (NAP) looked as though he might be good enough to win a little race when running well here and at Killarney in the summer. He failed to act on heavy ground at Tipperary and with Jake Coen's claim to aid his cause he's taken to lose his maiden tag. Darkened scored over hurdles in August but has disappointed on the Flat the last twice though his earlier close third behind a subsequent winner at Cork would see him in the frame.
