In depth

Verdict

CEBUANO ran a fine race in a Punchestown maiden hurdle before scoring over further than this here two weeks ago from tonight's rival Splendid Light. The latter will be 8lb better off and must have a realistic chance of turning the tables, though the winner has a 10lb claimer on board and that could be enough to confirm the form. Vote Of Confidence was making his handicap debut and facing Polytrack for the first time here last month but did very well to beat Carried and a 5lb rise shouldn't prevent another big effort. Shake The Bucket knows what it's like to win around here and with his young rider able to claim the maximum he's by no means out of this. Equation Of Time shot up the weights after scoring here in September and looks a little high at present.
