Verdict

Selati should improve for her run on soft ground at Galway where she looked in need of the experience while stable companion Darling Days probably did better than expected over this track and trip earlier this month. Ger Lyons had plenty of entries at the early stage and relies on Melisandre, who attracted strong support on her debut at Fairyhouse but didn't get the run of the race, and Artistic Melody, who didn't get going until too late at Leopardstown. Michael Halford also saddles a pair with the superbly-bred Heat Of The Day, who is related to eight winners including Dubai World Cup winner Monterosso, likely to do better at this stage than the 125,000gns Shamardal filly Cloudy Miss. OLD TIME WALTZ is by War Front out of a Grade 1 winner in the USA. She's the second foal of a dam who has produced a 1m1f winner with her first and Aidan O'Brien's filly is taken to make a successful start.
