In depth

Verdict

A weak handicap and DON’T CRY ABOUT IT has to be forgiven a poor effort at Chepstow last time when a mid-race stumble didn’t help his cause. He had gone close on a couple of occasions before that, including under Silvestre De Sousa at Redcar, and gets the nod on that form. Dories Delight gets closer with every run but steps up from 6f today and goes handicapping for the first time along with Confreri and Billie Beane. Port Of Call and One Flew Over are more exposed and have yet to threaten in handicaps.
