Verdict
Pyledriver has been a fine standard bearer for connections and was a game winner of this prize last year. Hukum won particularly well at Meydan in Group 2 company in March but preference is for MANOBO, who also won at Meydan early this year before going close in the Dubai Gold Cup. He may well find the necessary improvement required to land this prize. High Definition ran far better than his odds implied when beaten only a neck in the Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh while the progressive Living Legend landed the Jockey Club Stakes at Newmarket in April but Palavecino looks up against it.
