Verdict

This is something of a lottery but CAME FROM THE DARK did well to finish a close third last time after a tardy start and Saffie Osborne will hopefully ensure there's no repeat performance of that sluggishness from the gates here. The grey is starting to look very well handicapped. Clarendon House ran well on seasonal debut in a hot York sprint and should go well along with the consistent pair Ancient Times and Lihou. Silky Wilkie has the class to go close off top weight and recent decisive Goodwood winner Angle Land is another to consider
