Verdict
Estimate will probably set the pace and it wouldn't entirely be a surprise if nothing got past her. As such, she is favoured over some fairly disappointing types. Nawadi is a full-sister to a high-class miler, No Excuse Needed, is by a miler and out of a mare by a miler, so it will be interesting to see how she copes with the step up in trip. She has ability but does not look out of the ordinary. American Embassy is well-bred but has shown little to date. Bijoux's juvenile form gives her a clear chance but she has been disappointing overall this year. High Resolve and Midnight Song have bits of form but, again, look nothing special. Annishirani steps up in trip after a couple of promising efforts but, in a race that will not take lot of winning, Estimate gets the nomination.
