Verdict
Some top stables are represented in this classified contest and we will side with Sir Michael Stoute's Portmanteau, with Zonergem and Nuzooa just two of many dangers. This expensive daughter of Barathea did appear a shade inconsistent earlier in the season but the penny now seems to have dropped, and following a victory at Newbury, lost no caste in defeat next time at Windsor when just touched off by Credit. She is entered for the Cambridgeshire so will need to put up a good showing here to warrant that confidence. Zonergem hasn't been seen since chasing home Mine at Royal Ascot, but if fit, will be a major threat to the selection. Nuzooa was highly tried last time and under the circumstances did well to finish just over seven lengths behind the classy Beneventa, she should make her presence felt today. Impeller and Cold Turkey are two others that catch the eye, but Portmanteau has more scope than most of these and gets the verdict.
