      Verdict

      Milky Way beat a subsequent winner when making a winning debut on soft ground at Newbury in October. He's probably useful but faster going and an absence are off-putting and he has to give 8lb to the largely progressive TARAZ, who had Azilian back in third and subsequent Windsor second Goodby Inheritence behind in fifth when getting off the mark at the Thamesside track - he can confirm the form with that pair, despite worse terms. Steady Major continues to disappoint on Turf but Buckleberry could figure eased in the weights.
