    Verdict

    Chianti is a horse who has been unfortunate to come up against very useful performers in the past and has always given a good account of himself in defeat. However, he will not have such as good an opportunity as this to regain the winning thread and is very difficult to ignore here. He has a 6lb advantage on the field on official figures, goes well on the track and has Kieren Fallon booked for the ride. Nadour Al Bahr has a similar profile to Chianti but may not find the race run to suit as he may prefer the hussle and bustle of a large field. Sparkling Water is dropped in class but has become slightly disappointing and may be best watched for now.
