Verdict

Duke Of North arrived in better form when winning this under today’s apprentice last year though is 6lb lower today. Amaretto’s recent placed efforts have been over longer trips while Gainsay had been progressing well before struggling badly at Beverley and she’s been rested since. But ASCOT WEEK got his head back in front at Ripon recently and with Cieren Fallon negating part of a 5lb penalty, it could pay to stick with John Quinn’s charge. Settle Petal has been off the track since December and remains 5lb higher than when last successful but Lunar Deity has a shout on his earlier second at Yarmouth.
