        Verdict

        Medburn Dream made all on testing ground at Windsor last week and though this is a slightly better race and he's carrying a penalty he may take some catching again. BYRES ROAD (NAP), a winner at Chelmsford in January, put an inexplicably poor performance at Doncaster behind him when just failing to overhaul Dolphin Vista on heavy going at Ripon last week. He's on the same mark here and looks the one to be on with race fitness guaranteed. Marshal Dan Troop takes a big step-up in trip after landing a 6f maiden at Lingfield on heavy going in September while Gold Faith is making his debut on Turf after his maiden success over 7f at Kempton. Blackout just held on over 6f at Nottingham but didn't perform as well when attempting a mile on soft ground at Newbury and like the consistent Machine Learner has an absence to overcome against race-fit rivals.
