      Verdict

      This probably isn't a race for maximum stakes but both Lyssio and Emma's Gift appear to be facing a stiff task at the weights while Troopingthecolour keeps finding one too good, though did win over C&D just over a year ago. MEHDI is no world-beater but did have almost four lengths to spare over the equally-disappointing Rockinante over a mile at Salisbury last time and it may be worth taking a chance that he'll see out this trip better than his old rival.
