    Verdict

Flashlight will be hoping to stretch today's opposition from the front though he may well be taken on by Hornboy. Dual Polytrack winner Panther Patrol attempts 7f for the first time and could figure along with WHIPPER SNAPPER. The latter has to be forgiven a below-par effort at Newmarket last time but is capable of doing so and gets the nod. Hipster has won twice at this venue and ran well again when third over a longer trip here earlier in the month. Ralph Beckett's charge was in a race here yesterday, however, and would have a penalty to overcome if successful.
