Verdict
Poyle Vinnie won the Stewards’ Cup consolation at Goodwood earlier this month before running in the Great St Wilfrid at Ripon. This represents a drop in class so Ruth Carr’s raider can’t be ignored. Thegreatestshowman has won his last two at Yarmouth and Chelmsford but this looks tougher. Little Boy Blue is speedy though drawn towards the outside but Mokaatil and Dizzy G found only one too good last time. COUNT OTTO (NAP) failed to get a run behind Poyle Vinnie at Goodwood and is 4lb better off now. He’s since finished a staying-on second at Newmarket and is due another win.
