        Verdict

        Able Jack gained his first success over this trip at Sandown last week and it's unlikely that a 6lb penalty will prevent another big run. Firedanser has yet to fulfil last season's promise but is gradually dropping to a winnable mark while SONNET was undone by soft ground and an extra furlong at Haydock. The latter should find this more to her liking and is taken to gain her first success. Wakame has done better since tackling a mile but has a 6lb rise to contend with while Frank Bridge found a similar rise too hot to handle at Yarmouth after completing a double at Brighton.
