In depth
Verdict
David Nicholls had three runners entered at the five day stage for this five furlong handicap but relies on just the two in the race with FOL HOLLOW looking the clear pick of them ahead of Indian Trail after decent efforts in defeat at Ascot and York in his last two starts and he is taken to gain a deserved success with the main danger rated as Siren's Gift. Andrew Balding's mare was highly tried in a Group 3 at Goodwood last time and may do better back in this grade but she is strictly held by Indian Trail on running over course and distance in June and may have to settle for minor honours at best. Kevin Ryan's Jargelle ran better at York last time and has claims off a fair mark, while Kerrys Requiem has only won once from 18 starts and could probably do with some help from the handicapper. Jim Boyle's Wotashirtfull has more to do than when landing a decent contest on the Polytrack at Lingfield last time but Fol Hollow has an obvious chance on recent form and looks the one to beat.
